Thermal Spray Coatings for Power Generation

With the expansion of economies resulting in the ever-increasing demand for power, engineers and maintenance crews face the constant challenge to keep the power generation equipment in top gear despite continual wear issues.

Endurance helps to solve challenges in maintaining the surface integrity of components in continually operating power plants. Hydro turbine coatings use HVAF/HVOF processes.

Lower downtime, higher reliability and longer service life of components

Our HVOF/HVAF coatings enhance critical equipment’s strength and wear resistance in the power generation industry and deliver multiple benefits. They are the ideal way to ensure the long-life serviceability of your components despite continual use.

Thermal Spray Technologies

The shield of endurance impact

HVAF coating offers excellent wear resistance, fracture toughness, impact resistance and thermal shock resistance. Low-stress coating and porosity levels lead to the increased service life of the component functionality.

Our Enduro-511 is an excellent electrolytic chrome replacement coating that ensures ten times the life with added wear resistance.

HVAF Spraying Carbide Coating onto Ball Valve

Our HVOF and HVAf Coatings provide excellent corrosion resistance while maintaining the perfect surface of sprayed ball valves for the whole service life.

Did you know?

The high ductileness of our rotor coating is our superhero. It not only reduces the risk of cracking if flexed but also provides loading stress resistance, while the gas-tight structure offers corrosion resistance.

Sodium hydroxide, chloride, sulphates and sulphides are the primary corrodents. From pitting and corrosion fatigue to stress corrosion, cracking problems occur in steam turbines. Rotor pitting corrosion is commonly related to chloride deposits.

The corrosive geothermal environment establishes the highly corrosion-resistant material choices for blades and rotors. Electrochemical corrosion occurs due to different materials.
